Rectal flaps/valves during anal sex

Has anyone encountered this?

I feel some sort of small flaps/glands/protrusions up the rectum, just above the internal sphincter?

What is this?

I'm sorry. I misread your post. I think you need to see a doctor. There isn't anything which shoul dbe loose in that area. It could be a polyp which can be eaily removed and examined.

Yeah, there are no valves there. I'd guess hemorrhoid, polyp or internal warts.

I don't know, this is very strange.

yes, there is an external sphincter and an internal sphincter, they are so close to each other they feel like one muscle.

anatomy text books do refer to valves in the area, however these are more folds than valves.


I too recommend an examination with a sigmoidoscope (not just the drs finger!)

Turns out to be normal colonic folds. Whew!
