-Off duty cop Louis Santiago was driving drunk with his cousin Albert Guzman as passenger
-Staring at his phone when he struck Damian Dymka
-Instead of calling 911, they drove off
-They turned around and went back
-They loaded the victim into the backseat and drove home
-Santiago's mom gave him a towel to wipe blood off of him and told him to drive the body back to the scene
-Called 911 finally after a couple hours (could the victim have been saved if help was brought earlier?)
-State cops showed up
-State cops noted that he was drunk but did not give him a breathalyzer test
-State cops let him go home no questions asked
-Finally after 3 weeks, they arrested him
But remember folks, there was absolutely no attempt at coverup at all. By any party involved.
How naive do they think we are? Had the victim's family not push for answers, would anything have been done at all?
