Remember this tv show?

No. Probably wasn't shown in the UK.

What of it?
Unsolved Mysteries" is an American television series that explores real-life mysteries, including cold cases, paranormal phenomena, and unexplained events. The show combines dramatic re-enactments, interviews, and updates to engage viewers and potentially solicit clues to solve the mysteries. It originally ran from 1987 to 2010

Ah, it's a Netflix show. That explains why I'd never heard of it.
I don't think it began on Netflix. It may have moved there when the audience did. I have seen it at some time in the past on cable or satellite. I think it just aired on whatever channels paid for the franchise. I've never had any streaming services except when I tried Hulu and dropped it within a month.

It was at one point regular TV. I remember seeing it in the 1990s. A fast search suggests it was on NBC then. I lost track in the late 1990s when i stopped regularly watching TV, in hopes of preserving what intelligence I had left. (Obviously, a failed effort.)

It scared the hell out of me as a kid. After it was done I was always sent to bed, but I loved watching it and Rescue 911.

Definitely remember Unsolved Mysteries with the eerie theme music and Robert Stack emerging from the shadows in his raincoat. The ghost stories were my fave.
