Yes, my aunt used Kitchen Bouquet. Blended vegetables, spices and herbs that made soups, sauces and gravy wonderful.

How is that pronounced?

A busy Diner with a fairly large menu will always have different gravies on hand. Even some simmering chicken bouillon with a few drops of Kitchen Bouquet or Gravy Master for tinting a bit along with some poultry seasoning would have been a better substitute.

I mix ketchup and mustard for fries. About 2 to 1. If the fries are hot, dipping in butter is good.

I bought a couple of cans of Libby's Country Sausage Gravy. It goes for about $1.40 a can. It's not bad. I can make better but when having an attack of lazy, it's pretty good. Needs more sausage of course.

Did you know that Hyacinth actually says 'Bucket' in the QEII episode? She's giving Richard direction and they end up stuck in the mud in a field. Richard drives as Hyacinth pushes and is splashed with mud. She yells, "I'll get you for that Richard Bucket!!" And then, to the camera, she mouths the word 'Bouquet'.

To me it all depends on what kind of fries. Fair fries get vinegar, salt and ketchup. Fast food fries get ketchup. Steak fries get mayo.

Ok, got it. Miracle Whip is ok. I don't care for the sweetness over mayo. But for dipping french fries, it sounds good. I'll have to try it.

I never use mayo, but I always have Miracle Whip in my home. I just like the flavour.
