Sad News Gay Porn Star Blake Michell passes away

Condolences

Of course, outsiders can never really know, be sure, but he seemed very real/sincere to this 'civilian'.

31 years isn't enough for anyone, anyway.

What a shame, but at least it was a motorcycle accident and not something nefarious.

What a shame - but he sure packed a lot of life into the years he had.

The motorcyclists here are almost all daredevils and do things in traffic that they get away with until they don't.

I'm sorry he's dead, but motorcycles are just a statistical mistake in a highway full of multi-ton vehicles at speeds between 40 and 100 mph.

There isn't a suit of armor made that can save a human body thrown at those speeds. If life for you must be thrillseeking, then it may be short. Very short.

I completely agree.

On the highway, I'm always weary when I come across motorcyclists. Some of them are really reckless like weaving in and out of multiple lanes or just going up the iddle of 2 lanes zooming past vehicles that are already going 80 mph or more.

It's SO tempting to open my door when they are splitting lanes. But, I work in Finance: I trust the math. Their number will come up naturally.

Young men like fast bikes for a reason. Riding hard is so exciting, makes you feel so good, like the best sex and then some. Risky of course but for many, worth the gamble. You can stay home and watch tv. Or you can do something that makes you feel truly alive. It is terribly sad that luck ran out for this young man but it was his choice to make, not anyone else's.

I enjoyed his works at HELIX and he moved on to MEN. Leo Ford also died in motorcycle accident.

When the story came out, it referenced an intersection north of Oxnard in Ventura County. It seemed odd because that's not on the highway, it's under the highway.

It appears from the local press that Rogers (aka Mitchell) was stationary at an intersection under the freeway and was waiting for the light to change. The other driver was in a box truck and either didn't (or couldn't) stop. There was witness who said that Rogers appeared to try to move to the other lane to avoid being hit but was not able to evade the truck and he was killed immediately.

From what I've heard, Rogers was visiting California and rented the motorcycle, which is common. A lot of people enjoy the drive up the Pacific Coast Highway either on motorcycle or in a convertible. What is not explained is why he wasn't on the highway and why he was in that part of the county.

I don't mean anything about his circumstances specifically. My disdain for motorcycles is as a class of drivers. If one had loved ones, it just seems a ridiculous roll of the dice considering the lack of protection, the speeds, and the potential weight of other vehicles in collisions.

Well, yes. I've been to trauma seminars where the transplant surgeons have a slide in their presentation thanking Harley Davidson for their assistance in the organ donation program. The trauma specialist crowd tends to have a dark sense of humor.

This particular accident was a freak incident. It was more of an auto-pedestrian type accident that could happen to any of us.

And there are plenty of such accidents with motorcycles, but even then, a LOT of the innocent riders have skirted death 100 times and not been caught, so the accidental death stats can be misleading, even when true.
