got to say it is a great little mp3 player sounds great and the touch screen controls are cool the interface isnt as smooth as the ipod touch but works properly and is still better than most other players and the bluetooth is much more useful than wifi could be (in Australia)i can connect my phone to it and make and recive calls through the mp3 player play music through bluetooth stereos and speakers recive files

and the real widescreen 16:9 is great for watching stargate

Looks very cool. You can make a makeshift iPhone with the bluetooth.

I have personally used the iPodtouch, and admit I have never seen the Samsung P2, so cannot compare the two; I am not generally a fan of iPod at all, but found the Touch to be flawless, as far as I was concerned.

It'll be interesting to get my hands on one these to see which feels, and works better..
Find it interesting that you can use the Samsung as a phone, also - That's quite a good feature - Do you need to connect the two together in order to be able to use the mp3 player as a phone? If the phone needs to be around the mp3 player, I don't see it being much use/to advantage, as you may as aswell use your phone; But the novelty of the function is nice

But at any rate.. nice purchase! Enjoy it; I am sure you will

yeah your phone has to be around the idea is more of a bluetooth headset where if you recieve a call and your listening to music you just have to press answer on the player rather than search for your phone

I must admit, I hadn't thought of that aspect . Yeah that could come in really handy! Especially when faffing around trying to pause the music/turn the volume down etc..

I will definitely keep an eye out for this product, when I am in the city.
What updates have you noticed since you've had it?

well the first fimware didn't support its use with a mobile phone only bluetooth headphones and speakers
now you can use it for mobile and file transfers

they will be adding games more format support the korean version has dictionary and lyrics
and general making the interface better

I still haven't seen one of these about; But to be fair, I haven't been out-n-about looking at gadgets recently.
Not even sure if it's out in UK, lol .

Being able to record the radio is a great function, and deleting files without connecting devices is super!!

Im not sure If I want a gadget that relies on a touchscreen for everythin. I mean for coolness factor Im sure it delivers... but I mean when Im on the go using my mp3 player or cellphone I know exactly what buttons to push and where they are when I just want to play, skip a track, answer a call, etc. With a touch screen though, I always have to be lookin at it and then passin my dirty fingers all over it. Then by the end u get a nasty lookin semi-functional screen.

well as for the buttons there is dedicated volume buttons a hold switch and if you press the power button and dont hold it it acts like play pause button

to skip tracks you drag your finger across the screen from right to left so you dont have to look at the player at all
