Santa Claus!

I was not upset because I still hold on to that glimmer of magic. However those who watch the Venture Bros. on Adult Swim should know that Santa Claus was killed in the late 1960's by an airplane. Up until that point he existed. I was around 11 maybe when I realized what was happening but still enjoying thinking he exists. The day is really more for Jesus anyway. (Not preaching, just saying)

HUH? What do you mean he isn't real? I see him every year! In fact, I'm pretty sure this is a picture of his son...unfortunately, I haven't gotten to sit on his son's lap yet.

Yes, I was upset. My older sister tried to tell me the year before and I refused to believe her. Then the next year my oldest brother was helping put toys together and I heard him playing a little piano like Schroeder's intended for my little brother. I was 8 and was crushed!

I was 9, but it was ok. In school, we were all talking about it and there are always those kids who know first and tell everyone else that's its not true and there is a big argument. So at home I jsut asked my mother and told her to just tell me straight and she told me the truth.

I was probably about 9 as well. I realised that something was severely wrong when I saw 4 different Santas walking around the shopping Malls at xmas time...what a way to get a kid confused!

Don't think that my parents ever 'directly' told me that Santa wasn't real... just kinda figured it out for myself...

Although... I think that there is a 'Santa' inside all of us (as xmas especially) which gives us the generosity and caringness that we give to all friends and family...

I was about 9 too. My friend told me.
Although, I like to think maybe he's real after all, but you have to stop believing, or at least writing to him with your requests, because if you didn't then he'd have all the adults to deliver for too, and even Santa can't cope with that demand.
Maybe childish, but I don't think it's too bad a theory

For a "reality" check, watch the Polar Express!!!! Great movie...made me cry! Don't remember who told me Santa did not exist, but we can still hold on to our won fantasies!!!

WHAT .. No Santa Clause ? Then why the "He*^&" do I get into that red suit and garb for every December ... visit all those houses 'n parties ... Hmmmm
Seriously; I do become "Santa" every year for private homes and parties as well as volunteer for Childrens Home and Hospitals ....
I was Never told ... just went with the flow ...
