Satellite Radio

I have XM radio. I love it. Especially channel 75 - the music at starrbucks. Who else has satellite radio? Which one?

Another Sirius listner here... I like the chance to hear great music that I just don't get on the broadcast stations around here. About 80% to 90% of the time I'm listening to the jazz and standards stations on Sirius.

For those of you that have Sirius, is it easy to sign up for? What type of radio would you recommend getting and is there any sign up bonus when you purchase the radio (like you get a certain number of months free). I am thinking of getting this as a gift but I don't know if the person want to pay the monthy subscription fee if I just get the radio.

The person possibly getting the present is straight. I'd get Sirius to give him the chance to hear Howard Stern which he likes. He commutes to work from MS to New Orleans so this would be in his car. I think he'd really like to have Stern and all kinds of music for his long drives. I just don't know if he would want to pay $13 a month for radio. It is a great gift idea but I don't want to give him something that he feels he has to continue to pay for because it was a present from me. I'll figure something out but this would have made such a cool gift!
