Saw VI: Oh! Yes! There'll be even MORE blood!

I love the series. II was the best but III was a bit too gory, they need to tone that down just a bit for the next one.

If SAW 4 is a prequel...will it be like all the others? Saw 4 THE BEGININGS...THERE WILL BE BLOOD BUT NOT AS MUCH AS THE LAST 3. They need to learn when to stop these series.

These movies are cheap and fast to make and they make insane amounts of money at the box office and in DVD sales. They're guarateed profit-makers. No self-respecting movie studio would stop making them until they stopped being as profitable. Saw will be around for a while, I suspect.

If there's one thing that's sure about horror movies it's that they never end... characters in horror movies best never slip back into a sense of secutrity because there's ALWAYS going to be another sub-par sequel with very little originality but plenty of gore around the corner.... it's just the way it is. All so often the second in the series is the worst, churned out in haste with little thought... that gets panned but still makes money so they put a little more, not much just a little, time into the plot of the three but it never quite reaches the shine of the first... horror movies are like roller coasters the first drops always the highest and how long it's gonna go just relies on that one's momentum (whoa I'm so proud of myself for that analogy...or similie I geuss)

That's hot.

Yes, Saw 2 did suck.

Well, gore porn is the new trend for today's horror, and I'm glad for it. You have no idea how sick I am of long-haired female ghosts who just look at you to kill you.

There hasn't been a decent horror movie in years. Nothing is scary anymore.

Obscene gore isn't scary. Pale-skinned children and long-haired female ghosts aren't scary. There's no such thing as atmosphere or camera tricks or IMAGINATION anymore.

Well, you can't blame the filmmakers. There's a demand for gore and they need to comply.

Try indie fare if you want to go old school. MoH personally does wonders for me - - granted, their second season is definitely weak.

Saw IV...I think they should have stopped at one myself. That one was ok, and two was somewhat alright, but I thought three was pretty bad. The whole time I watched it all I could think about was how much time was left before it finished...

I just had to think of "A Nightmare on Elm Street 2 - Freddy's Revenge". The movie had nice F/X but the story was horrible stupid. Part 2 really sucked.

And what about those movies?

- The Descent
- High Tension
- Identity
- Shaun Of The Dead
- 28 Days Later
- Darkness

Well, "Shaun Of The Dead" is more comedy than horror.

I've tried to watch the first three..got about 10 minutes through each one...then I turned em off...I can't watch "realistic" graphic violence...gives me cold shivers. Though I enjoyed "Shaun of the Dead" haha.
