The artist formerly known as Kanye West has addressed the criticism surrounding the “White Lives Matter” t-shirt design included in his and Shayne Oliver’s YZY SZY 9 presentation in Paris on Monday.

In an update to his Instagram Stories, Ye called Black Lives Matter a “scam,”

“Everyone knows that Black Lives Matter was a scam,” Ye wrote. “Now its over. You’re welcome.”

The organization is trash but the movement is very much a vital part of modern civil rights. BLM protestors (of which I am one) procured the conviction of Derek Chauvin. But whenever white people see black people getting too powerful they have to find a way to dismantle it, in the case of BLM it's with this smear campaign of "BU BU BU BU BUT THEY BOUGHT A MANSION!" as if every organization on American soil isn't a grift, especially these charities and churches.
