CBS News has uncovered documents that show the State Department may have covered up allegations of illegal and inappropriate behavior within their ranks.

The Diplomatic Security Service, or the DSS, is the State Department's security force, charged with protecting the secretary of state and U.S. ambassadors overseas and with investigating any cases of misconduct on the part of the 70,000 State Department employees worldwide.

CBS News' John Miller reports that according to an internal State Department Inspector General's memo, several recent investigations were influenced, manipulated, or simply called off. The memo obtained by CBS News cited eight specific examples. Among them: allegations that a State Department security official in Beirut "engaged in sexual assaults" on foreign nationals hired as embassy guards and the charge and that members of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's security detail "engaged prostitutes while on official trips in foreign countries" -- a problem the report says was "endemic." "

Which is exactly what republicans are gaming for since they failed to make Obama a one term President. The height of arrogance is conservatives thinking that only a republican president can solve all the problems of the country and the world. Yet they haven't won the popular vote in a presidential election in 25 years.

Hillary will beat anybody the republicans put up because they have nothing. Accolades to CBS for joining the ranks of the conscious.

You are correct. The CRIMES of the previous administration were forgotten the second Barack Obama was elected. The republicans were laser focused on the day he was inaugurated in 2009 to attack the economic mess and criticized Obama 6 weeks into his term that it wasn't cleaned up yet. They've been on him ever since, damning everyone in his administration.

This continual grasping at straws is beyond ridiculous.

All we heard for a while..."4 dead Americans".... "4 dead Americans"....... but nothing about the 4,000 dead Americans because of a war Bush lied us into. Nothing about the warnings previous to 9/11 with Bush and Condi Rice ignoring them.

Shit, start another thread about a scandal at _________________ (fill in the blank).

We have another 3.5 years of this and when Hillary Clinton is elected President we'll have another 8 years.

These right wingers really need to focus on their own lives or move out of the country. We'll all be a lot better if they did.

We bring up bush Springer because when these things happened under Bush,no one on your side said a darn thing. And when people spoke out against the Patriot Act,NSA or anything else,they were called traitors,terrorist supporters,weak etc by the same people who are pretending to be outraged now.
And if you look around,there are people NOT afraid to call out Obama on this or many other issues. Didn't happen with Bush.
