I saw The Crazies today and it was ok, but nothing on the scare factor and it made me think...it's been a really really long time since I've seen a movie that's scared me. You guys have any suggestions?

There is no such thing as a truly scary movie. Especially since Hollywood has come to equate gore with horror.

Thats why you look outside hollywood. Not that hard.

I recommend [REC] if you're fine with reading subtitles. It's the original Quarintine except a lot less shitty.

Ju-On, and the Eye (original not remake), the Orphinage, oh and Parasite Eve.

I caught the original The Eye on IFC a couple months ago and it was pretty great! It was like every scene that was in the remake was 10 times more effective.
