i love scissor sisters...my favorite songs:
-filthy/gorgeous
-bicycling with the devil
-take your momma out
-i dont feel like dancing

My favourites
- I can't Decide
- I Dont feel like Dancing
- Kiss you Off
- Land of a Thousand words

This deserves a bump since "Hurrah..A Year of Ta-dah" is coming out on DVD. It has their O2 Concert in London and an extra 60 minute doc and other extras. My own opinion is that the Scissor Sisters are MAJOR ..They are already superstars everywhere but US.. It kind of makes me wonder when Rolling Stone puts Zac Efron on the cover when The Sisters would have been far better. They actually rock.

True, but Zac Efron has had a couple of Billboard Hot 100 singles over the past two years.

In the 3+ years The Scissor Sisters have been out, they've never dented the Hot 100. I wouldn't be surprised to see Mika on Rolling Stone sometime soon (he's had two Hot 100 hits over the past six months!)

i have no idea what album this is from. this season's doctor who final episode was the first i'd heard of them

It's from Ta-Dah and it's called I Can't Decide. Ta-Dah is one of my all time favorite albums. (!)

Favorite tracks:

1. Kiss You Off
2. I Can't Decide
3. Lights
4. Paul McCartney
5. She's My Man

I really love their first album as well. Talk about a band that is WAY underexposed in the US.

I quite like the album, and as much as I like "I Don't Feel Like Dancing", I can't hear the piano line without thinking of "December 1963 (Oh What a Night)" by the Four Seasons.

...could be just me, though. : )

One of the most FUN concerts I've ever been too! Last December they played in December for the radio station I used to work at...Ok Go opened and it was a great show! after the after party was the first time I told someone I was bi....so it's kinda cemented into my brain that night...haha

I think they're quite a good group, if I'm honest.
Uplifting and fun music to listen to! ..|
