Well, tonight was a step in the name of progress.

Last night, I after mentioning I had seen a certain movie, I was asked to tag along with a bisexual fellow, his boyfriend, and some of their friends to test out their new TV and surround sound system.

I mildly agreed, but boy am I glad that I did.

Met some great guys, had some good laughs, drank some beer that actually tasted good....

Hope to meet up will all of them again, hopefully.

And, I have officially been introduced to my first ever "fag hag" and my God...I want one.

What was the "certain movie?"

I am very pleased you had such a pleasant evening. You sound very pleased by the evening.

:=D: :=D:

Oh bugger, I forgot to mention that didn't I....

Before you boys get all naughty, we ended up watching Revenge of the Sith....

Okay Beer that actually tasted good?! Your lying! :)

Your first ever "Fag Hag" and you want one?! Why? Just curious...never meet one myself!

Have fun, don't rush anything, just enjoy the friendships and great memories of being young....I wish I could have made such great progress at your age.Sounded like fun!

Cardinal rule for movie nights -- everybody gets to talk during the movie. If you want to treat a film like a serious work of art, watch it by yourself.

Other rules are trickier -- like if somebody didn't catch what was said, do they get to rewind? That gets old fast.

And should you provide a choice of films and let people vote on them? Or just say, it's my house, I pick the movie?

Well, compaired to beers I had in the past...This was one of the most drinkable...Still not enough to make me a beer person though.

As for the fag hag...She had more funny stories about gay sex than most guys I've ever come across...She even beat guys here on JUB.

And when some accidental gay porn came on the TV, which was hooked up to the computer and screensaver had some porn on it, there were a lot of good comments.

And not to mention I actually admitted to see some of those pictures before in a room of people I hardly know...

And then, there's the added kicker of finally meeting some people I know for sure are gay!

There's one boy, Kieran, who was quite my type...As to whether I am his or not, who knows...But inquiring afterwards have led me to find out he is single..

So, JUB...Should I persue or what?

Short and sweet...pursue Kieran, see if you both have chemistry!

What about the other thread regarding a "whore?" All of this seems to be sending a lot of mixed signals and or messages..

or maybe it is just that I am a local village idiot and do not understand such things - anymore, or at all, you know, i don't recall, there are some advantages to being delcared an antiquity in the Sotheby's catelogue after all.

eM:(

Do not actively seek out a "fag-hag".... the only purpose they have is to further the stereotypes we try to break down on a daily basis.

I know, I used to be in that boat ^....The anti-fag-hag boat...

I too didn't see the purpose and so forth, but after actually meeting one...She seemed like a very down to earth, nice person....

Granted, she hangs out with us younger gay guys and she has a gay roomie, but that's not all so bad is it?

I say go for it! What have you got to lose? ;)

AHHH!

I remember fondly the first beer that tasted good to me . . .

That was about 4,647,973 beers ago. But, I remember it like it was my first time.

Admit it! Some of you just like "Revenge of the Sith" because you can say it with your lisps (or lithpth)!

I'M JUST KIDDING!!!!!!

A4A

Every "fag-hag" I've ever known has ended up a bitter, lonely woman in their late 20s or early 30s. They spend so much time immersed in the gay lifestyle they don't have the opportunites to meet straight men and before they know it, they are 30, and single and alone. "Their gays" got married, stopped going out...whatever else...and she is left out.

Sure, some of them try the whole lesbo thing, but that only makes it worse for them.

One fag-hag I knew eventually became really, really anti-gay. Blamed them for the way that her life turned out. I think it was more to do with the fact that she was over 250 pounds, but she still blamed the gays for making her 32 and single with no connection to any "straight community."

Friends who are females with their own lives = yes.
Fag-hags who have no life unless they are hanging around with a gay man = no.
