Second Thoughts About The Past

You say you should not have sent the email.

I don't agree.

Now you know for sure how he feels and that it's over.

Put a period on it. Turn the page to a new chapter.

It's better to know. Lingering doubt makes it harder to move on.

I'm sorry you're in pain but you're right there are lessons for you in this. Now the learning begins. That's exciting for you. You're going to grow, be smarter, wiser, bigger, and doors will open.

It's not easy, I know that. I've stumbled up the road you're on. But if you do it right you end up stronger and surer.

It's good. (*8*)

Thanks Nick, and as if it isnt bad enough you screename reminds me of Anna Nicole and her passing today :(. This is shpaing up to be the worst day ever.

I hope in time i will grow, and be smarter and that doors will indeed open. Its just that it just happened so i am still shaken up but i will ok, i just know.

I will rise and i will love again.

We shared so much, if i call first then he wins.

tsk, tsk

If you only care about who wins, leave it alone. If you have a really contrite and forgiving heart...email him right now and tell him how you really feel. and don't despair if he takes a day or a week or year to forgive as well.......good luck.

Life is too short to lose people you love because of pride.

I find sappy songs help sometimes. (*8*)

Laura Fabian - I will love again

Music really does help heal you.

I hear you rareboy but its over. I swallowed my pride and reached out to him and today he tells me he wishes me well but that i am not to contact him again. So i have no choice but to move on.

You ask if you learn something from this? I would say that you have learned never to burn bridges....

I know :(, and the sad thing it seems to be a pattern for me, burning bridges, dont know how i havent been booked and locked up for arson yet.

No wonder i am alone, going from hook up to hook up, nothing lasting.

I really need a total transformation. I'll work on it.

Sorry about the outcome newboy, but to be blunt for a second, it is the bed you made for yourself. The thing to take away from it is never to do that to people you care about again. Severing people from your life is... an extremely painful thing for someone to have to go through, and you shouldn't just go around doing it when you have arguments with people. Today we live in this world where we don't have to work out our differences with people, we just tend to say f*ck you don't talk to me again. And it hurts. And then when you come to regret it, as you know, it comes back to Bite you in the ass. Moral of the story, don't burn bridges, and TALK to people about problems, don't just walk away.

I hear and understand loud and clear.

Today we live in this world where we don't have to work out our differences with people, we just tend to say f*ck you don't talk to me again. And it hurts.

That is so true. Casual contacts and friends have done that to me too. Nobody really invests in relationships anymore. The internet is partly to blame too. Because if you lose a friend you simply just log on to myspace or friendster or wherever and you just get a new friend just like that. And its unfortunate.

I just hope its not too late to start fresh and change the way i conduct and operate within relationships.

I'm so glad you contacted him even though the response wasn't what was hoped for. You did the right thing....in time, he may contact you again. the Good thing is that you told him what you felt.

I hope that time will heal this for you....and it is never too late to improve how we deal with others.

its never too late to make a positive change in your life :). The bright light in all of this is that you've done all that you can. And you've learned that maybe you should stop and talk the next time something like this comes up. Thats a GOOD thing if nothing else comes of the situation right? :)
