To be serious and not trying to be funny, you need to keep playing with to try to get the sensativity to become less.

it's been protected all this time w/foreskin..

yes, the sensitivity will become less over time.

There are a couple of things that happen over time...

As more of the head is exposed to air, it will toughen the outer layers of the skin in a process called keratinization. This will help reduce the sensitivity.

The other process is a bit more subtle. Since this is the first time that the head of your penis has experienced the sensation of touch, your brain is processing something new. In time, your brain will become accustumed to the new sensation. Think of it this way- your entire body is constantly being rubbed by your clothing but you don't find it ticklish or painful because your brain is used to these sensations and it automatically tunes them out. The same thing will happen in time with the new sensations on the head of your penis.

As an uncut guy who has only recently discovered the need to pull back the foreskin (blame it on lack of education), I can tell you that you need to constantly try pulling back your foreskin.. slowly. Just do it a bit at a time, and you'll find that your foreskin is easier to pull back, and your head would be less sensitive.

Although I still am not entirely used to the sensation of touching my head, but I guess I'm getting there.

Hi guys, same story for me. I always used to have a really tight foreskin, only about a year ago (not long after I started getting sex, connection?) it managed to start loosening and finally I was able to stretch it enough to be able to actually pull it back but now it still remains really sensitive to touch, hold etc. It's fine, or even better maybe during sex but if I'm getting a blowjob it's usually so sensitive that it stings and we have to stop or I'll start going soft. However if I'm really hard, like when I'm getting sex for the first time in a while, then you can rub it, suck it, what ever and it barely stings at all. Is there anything to ease the sting? Like I've been told to sleep with my foreskin back to get used to it but rubbing against sheets and such hurts so much

Appreciated if you guys can help, Scott

Unfortunately, it's not a quick process. Assuming there's not an underlying infection like balanitis, the sensitivity is part of your brain perceiving new sensations from the exposed head of your penis. It will take time for you to adjust to the sensation.

Retracting the foreskin is fine as long as you are able to slide the foreskin back in place when you are erect. If your foreskin does not slide over the head of your penis when you have a hardon, you can cause issues if you have erections in your sleep that cause paraphimosis (trapping of the foreskin that can impede blood flow to the head of the penis).

If you can't easily slide the foreskin over the head when you have an erection, then retract the foreskin only when you're awake and don't have an erection.

hey, thanks for your concern. foreskin is able to slide back at any time so that shoudent be a problem. over the last few nights ive tried pulling back and exposing head to the air. after a bit i do notice it get better and then its ok to wear loose boxers or lie in bed and it wont hurt. but like the next time i try it always stings again, almost until it drys out then its fine to hold or rub.

That normal for someone in my situation?

much thanks

I used to have a hypersensitive head too, but in my experience, the more you expose it and touch it, the less sensitive it gets.

For most uncut guys, where the skin normally covers your head, it is usual to slide the skin back and forth over the head when masturbating. The head is usually too sensitive without lube for you to masturbate with the skin pulled back. However some guys like to pull the skin back when jerking off to get the cut guys sort of feeling! I love wanking with my skin over my knob. No right or wrong method but you should be able to pull the skin right back if you wish.
