i was wondering if you guys would know what kinds of food i should eat with a sensitive stomach cause i already know i can't have anything spicy and was wondering if you guys would know what kinds of would go well with a sensitive stomach

Rather than focus on your diet first, I would first discuss all this with your doctor to find out why your stomach is so sensitive. It may have nothing to do with food. Some foods may simply be irritating another condition that is there. Talk with your doctor before you make any changes.

i already spoke with my doctor and he said to stay from spicey foods and also stay from greasy fatty foods the most i been eating is chicken and i also some cheese rice and eat some fruitand i was also wondering if a doctor ever told you for a stomach ache to drink 7 up

Is this something chronic or temporary? If chronic, then you really need to have a serious talk with a specialized dietician... otherwise, try white rice with just a few drops of olive oil.

thanks for the tip but what i was asking was if anyones doctor ever told them if they had a stomach ache to drink 7 up

I've never gone to the doctor for upset stomach so don't know what he would recommend, but heard about drinking cola for an upset stomach and it works for me... never heard or tried 7UP.

I'd go with Peppermint tea instead of soda. If you have a chronic problem, you may want to ween yourself from dairy for a month or so and see if things improve.

I have no idea what may work for you, but let me share my story.

I always thought I was just born with a sensitive stomach. It seemed to be more intestinal than the stomach though. All my life, on and off, I'd have gas, pain, cramps, irregularity, etc..

I saw M.D.'s, naturopathic doctors, chinese herbalists, colonists, acupuncturists and massage therapists. Nothing really changed.

Then while trying to lose a few pounds, experimenting with diets, I discovered the Blood Type Diet. I got my blood tested, hoping to be an "O". Results came back "A". Well, I found I'd been eating all kinds of food I should avoid.

So, I thought to myself, "I've tried everything else". And completely changed my eating habits, giving up many foods I loved to eat.

Guess what? For me, it worked. No pain, more energy--I rarely catch colds, flu, or ever get sick.

It's been almost a religion with me, and I rarely stray from the diet. And, for the last seven years I've known what it feels like to be "normal".

Hey, for you, this may not appeal. But, it doesn't cost a cent to change the type of foods you eat, for a week or two, to see if it makes any difference.

My mother would suggest drinking sprite/7Up for an upset stomach, but never a doctor. If you have an ulcer or something, the carbonation could aggravate it. I had a friend who was told by her doctor that she just had a sensitive stomach for years. She would eat everything plain. Finally, she saw a different doctor to find out that her gall bladder was ruptured, she had it removed and can eat normally now.

Ginger based products are good for touchy stomachs, but only ones with real ginger. Most commercialy produced ginger ales just have an artificial flavouring, for example. It will give your diet a bit of zing!;)

Could be a number of things. Have you seen a doctor?
Are you taking tums or any over the counter things.

Others have given you some dieting advice. Also you want to avoid eating anything after 6 p.m.
Take care, it could be something more serious, and if it gets progressively worse, then by all means let a doctor examine you.
