Shaving Your Butt

personally, i wash my ass and cock hair and everything in between, then leave it a lil wet, use shaving cream all over, then cut it with like a gelette razor.

I've never cut myself and I always am left with a nice, incredibly SMOOTH, completely cut ass. This is the best way to do it in my opinion.

don't shave ass i did it this week it wasn't bad the first day but after that i have been putting a&d on my ass due to razor burn it fucking sucks my ass hurts & trying to walk sucks too.its all red never again will i shave my ass!!!!!!!!!!!

I use Veet for men.

It smells HORRIBLE, like really gross. But once you've put in on, waited, then showered it off, it doesn't smell anymore. And the results last for quite a while. It doesn't involve gymnastic-level flexibility or having to share intimate areas with strangers (unless you're into that type of thing).

I know chemicals sound horrible, but they're so much easier and quicker. xx

I used it for a while and thought it was ace, much kinder and more effective then shaving. Was about the fith time I used it and as I washed it off in the shower, my balls stung like crazy and were tender for a few days.

Back to razers now :(

THIS

Dont shave with the same razor you have used on your face. The design is not the same and you will be sore.

The bodygroom is the ticket. It has shears for trimming back the longer hair and then a shaver with a very small microfoil to get the trimmed area smooth.... works well

But with the trimmer it comes back quicker than if you Nair... I prefer Veet however to nair. Use the bikini line stuff because it is sensitive and made for pubes.

If you do use chemicals make sure you have plenty of soothing lotion for the after. It may hurt like a bitch otherwise.

Third concession.

I've used the Norelco body groom on my rump to very satisfactory effect for over a year and a half now. I think it was mentioned somewhere in here not being able to get all the hair around the a-hole and gooch (perineum), which I've never had a problem with. You've just got to be a little intrepid. I find it helps to raise my leg all Captain Morgan style.

My only quarrel with the Norelco is that it doesn't trim very well with the attachments; at least, it never has for me. (I prefer the trimmed to the shaved look on myself; although, I do shave the peach fuzz off a number of areas, such as shoulders, back, sides, and tri(cep)s.) I had a groomer by Sharper Image that was fantastic. Even had this little extender thing that plugged into it for doing your back and legs--for those of us who are lazy--and a row of LEDs that let you know how much charge you had left. Alas, I dropped it once and it crapped out. The Norelco I've dropped probably a dozen times, and it still works. Need to change the foil though, which is supposed to be done every six months.

You know, I could help you with that.

I have an electric razor (the kind with three circle shaped 'razors'). On the back of it, it has a trimming tool that works great for my pubic hair and the darker, thicker spots of hair on my butt. I use the pretty mediocre circle shaped feature for my cheeks though and it works pretty well. It just feels really slow and ineffective but after doing it, i can definitely feel the difference.

I wonder if one were to use shaving gel instead of cream when using a razor blade, if that would make for a better (no razor burn-y) shave?

If you want to avoid razor burn, you're spot on. Gels are better than creams, because they reduce friction; however, if you can find it, go with a gel that contains oat flour. I use Edge Ultra Sensitive for this very reason. It's very effective, and quite inexpensive.

For all of you who get razor burn, use perfume-free talc on the areas, so they remain dry all the time

I have a couple tips from shaving my ass for years.

To start: get in the shower and be completely dry if you are going to begin by trimming (shaving a furry ass with a razor is HARD) and clean. I used to use a beard trimmer with the shortest attachment, but have since upgraded to the newest Norelco body groomer and I love it. With the Norelco you can trim and then flip it around to "shave", but I usually give a quick razor pass over it afterwards. If you don't have the norelco move on to a razor and shaving cream.

After the hair is nicely trimmed I use a sensitive shaving cream and a BRAND NEW disposable razor. Its not the most cost effective but I use a disposable razor to shave my ass and genitals and toss it before the blades dull (and I'm not interested in using it on my face). I use the little 3-bladed ones, and although brand shouldn't matter much some do have sharper blades and you want as sharp as possible. When I'm doing the shaving I squat and try to shave WITH the direction of the hair. If you are prone to razor bumps leave it at that and be done. If you wish give it a final pass against the direction of the hair to make it super soft to the touch. If you can handle it give yourself a quick cold water wash, it will close your pores and help with bumps or redness. After you get out dry out your crack thoroughly and put some aloe on. In my experience plain body lotion doesn't help much.

This is the health and well being forum, so I'll add that farting with a newly shaved ass can be a little squeaky, so don't plan on slipping anything unnoticed in public. :P

Good luck and have fun with your new shaved bottom!
