Shaving

I've read about hair removal products and I always see bad things said (chemical burns, etc).

I just use my body trimmer and trim it down with the lowest trimmer. It looks like it's gone and I don't have to worry about getting every bit of it. It's easier than shaving. AND no razor bumps. I always got razor bumps when I shaved my butt. I'd say because of the pressure from sitting down and also causing my pants to move around so much back there.
 
baby oil kills two birds with one stone--moisturizes and prevents ingrown hairs. just rub a little bit on the shaven area right after shaving, then pat it dry with a towel. after that, use a bit each day after your shower.

i wouldn't recommend powder because that can dry the area out and make it more irritated.
