Shia LaBeouf is so hot right now

Michelle Monaghan has signed on to star opposite Shia LaBeouf in the action-thriller "Eagle Eye."

The DreamWorks project revolves around a young man (LaBeouf) and a single mother (Monaghan) who are framed as terrorists and forced to become members of a cell with plans to carry out a political assassination.

D.J. Caruso, who directed LaBeouf in "Disturbia," will shoot the film.

To get the director and the lead actor from "Disturbia" back together, is the only hot factor I'm willing to admit for now. That film could suck big time, you know. The storyline is not THAT original. But then, "Disturbia" was a "Rear window" rip off and it worked real good.

As I've said before, he's the new Tom Cruise. Everybody wants him for movies, I mean, look how many he's done in the last few years, all starting out as a freaky prankster on 'Even Stevens'.

If you compare Cruise and LaBeouf, Labeouf has better acting skills, but Cruise has(or had) more sex appeal. They're both talented and good-looking, it's just that neither are better in both categories.

Anyway, can't wait to see what he does next.


On a side note, I wonder that if they do a Transformers sequel(they left the movie open for one), if he'll be in it.
