No, you just no. I could go on and analyze every point you just made, but just no. The chances are sooo slim..it's impossible. You are safe buddy.

Yes, but not for the reason that you expect.

If you, as a virgin, went to a bathhouse and now you're posting in details to the point of speculating about the roughness of someone's hands...

This is causing you some anxiety, so for your own peace of mind you should get tested, even though there's nothing in your story that would qualify as "high risk". Getting tested now is also good practice on the process for when you are sexually active.

Which brings us to the next topic. Once this experience is behind you, what's next?

Yes you should, and let me tell you why you should.

You asked if you should get tested. If you felt the need to post a topic online asking if you should get tested then it's obviously something that's in the back of your mind and concerns you. While i'm 99.9999999999999% sure you don't have anything, it still feels good to hear the test results confirming it.

At the very least, go consult a doctor about it.

omg. paranoid much? how are you ever going to actually have sex if you are this freaked out over literally nothing? sorry.

You should start learning modes of transmission for various STIs so that you won't be this paranoid around naked men. But it will not hurt for you to go out and get tested, it's an experience of its own. You will ease your anxiety and also will become comfortable discussing STD testing with healthcare providers. By the time you'll become sexually active, you will know where to go for testing, what to expect from the process and won't have feelings of embarrassment requesting an STD screen. A lot of sexually active adults avoid STD testing because they're embarrassed of the process.

Not going to lie, that kinda hurt but it made me laugh. So ouch and thanks.

sorry, didn't want it to be offensive or abrasive, but its what popped into my mind first as I was reading your post. Its great to be safe and concerned about STD's but dont be too afraid or youll never enjoy any of it. :) just take the normal precautions and youll be fine.

I know what you meant and I agree, but it’s hard when you’re young, a virgin, and alone- it’s not like anyone taught me how to be a sexual person, let alone a bi/gay sexual person. It’s so hard, so much trial, and for me, a LOT of error :s

Well, that's why this forum exists.

Honestly, under normal circumstances jensu846's post would have been removed since this is the no-flame-zone. However, there's a point he's making which is the same point in my question, "Once this experience is behind you, what's next?".

You wouldn't be the first person who impulsively went to public park, gay bath or bookstore. However, for someone who is inexperienced, you were in a little over your head. Part of why you feel a bit panicky about the possibility of STDs is because you did something impulsive and high-risk... and you ended up in a situation that is less than ideal for a first sexual experience.

Which brings us back to the original subject. Yes, you should wait a couple of weeks and get a full STD panel done- syphilis, chlamydia gonorrhea, etc. If you want an HIV test, you may have to wait 4-6 weeks for your first test with a repeat test at 3 months. That should put your anxiety to rest over this encounter.

And maybe it's time to plan for your next encounter... maybe something a little more vanilla where you don't end up having to go through "trial and error"?
