You should learn self-discipline if that's what you're struggling w/. Leaving JUB won't fix that problem for you. Besides, I do enjoy having ya around.
 
if you really wanted to leave then you wouldnt ask, you'd just leave.

personally I would say if your not happy and are seriously considering leaving.... then 'buh-bye'

no one else here can make the decision for you so dont ask them too and quit whineing!

This covers you and thousands of other JUB members. I truly don't believe you're so unstable that not being able to 'shag' the cute guys online would give you cause to leave the forum.

Well Joe, he's not asking us if we want him to leave or if we think he's a loser or a freak or annoying as fuck. He's asking if we believe it will somehow better his mental health if he disengages from JUB. You know, kind of like if you asked us if it would better your health to ignore the U.S. news for awhile.

First off, it is completely wrong that people who talk about suicide don't mean to do it. Yes, those who really want to die often just do it. That does not mean, however, that those who talk about it won't do it or don't eventually want to. Don't spread myths.

Second, Andrew, if this place causes you more pain than pleasure, then yes, you should leave. You should not expose yourself to something that causes you pain over and over.

However, I voted you should stay, and the reason I did is because in the past week this site seemed to be causing you a lot of joy and fun. So my vote is you stop visiting those sites that bring you down with horrible visions of what humanity is capable of, and stay here, where you can see that humanity is capable of far better things than that.

And now I administer a hug, freely given, and heartfelt. (*8*)
 
It's YOUR decision. Other Jubbers have asked the same question before. Some of them are still here, others took a break.

If posting/reading is a burden then think of alternatives to JUB. I'm sure you have other interests and JUB doesn't necessarily responds to all of our Internet needs. I'm into jazz and classical music and for that reason I participate in other boards where my identity as a gay man is not the key element.
