Should I watch "The O.C."?

I've never seen "The O.C." before, so I just checked out the box DVD set of the first season of the series from the public library (my local library has a GREAT DVD selection, I almost have no need to rent), but due to time constraints I'm wondering if I should bother, since teen drama is not usually my cup of tea. (I enjoyed "Buffy", but that's about it.) I prefer to return things ASAP if I'm not gonna watch it.

Any opinions about "The O.C." out there?
 
Definitely. The OC certainly has its detractors, but it is hard to deny that the first season was truly amazing. I have converted countless people by starting with the first season. Just start it....you'll know by the end of the second episode if you are going to love it or not.

The OC is decent if you like pure, mindless trash. You can shut your brain off and still know exactly where the plot is headed.

The first season was good....The second season was crap, and didn't really watch it. I won't be watching the third season.
 
I love this show. The third season was horrible but hopefully it will rebound and not get cancelled. It's still borderline good quality if you dont include the drugs, drawnout storylines, etc. ha ha
 
Yes you should watch it. The first season is really good.
 
I would say No. If you're renting something rent the much underappreciate first season of Supernatural or the much over appreciated first two season of Grey's anatomy

Yeah, the actor whose picture is posted is plenty hot, but then again so are a lot of dudes on TV.

Come to think of it, I see guys just as hot or hotter all the time walking around in the college town that I'm living in. Who needs TV for that?
 
I do suggest watching Supernatural though, especially if you're into campy Buffy-esque stuff.

Don't waste your time on this. If you like Buffy, re-watch that, it is ten thousand times better.
 
:P as any super buffy freak will tell you but a normal buffy fan will tell you it's a fledging series with lots of potential and GREAT eye candy
