Should JUB Have A Classical Music Forum?

Many JUBbers seem to be totally ignorant of classical music and opera.

Is it not time for JUB to put this right by having a forum devoted to classical music and opera?

It would have to be specific, I think. I mean, just think how many people think Van Halen and Culture Club is 'classic' music!

Music doesn't even have it's own forum, I doubt anyone's gonna give one for one specific genre which you yourself say that many JUBbers are ignorant towards. If we were to get more forums, then we'd split the media ones into films, TV and music. I can't imagine it getting any more broken up than that.

oh come now we both now that would ruin the functioning of the entire forum - he can't even figure out his own age - i.e. in his mid twenties or 34.​

besides which he has a tendancy to post these self absorbed threads about himself and his c***k and what they are doing and rarely does he respond to questions in his own threat with the exception of the opera thread - and even some of those answers were a bit questionable.

besides he is off to the Met for three months each year and Europe with his "lecturing?"

let the mods decide who the moderator should be.

and as to the question of the thread, i think it would be very nice if we had a forum on classical music - there are a lot of very talented people around here in this field.​

So they can more easily avoid threads devoted to same? Yeah, that sounds like a great idea.

I don't see anything wrong with keeping them in the Music section, perhaps with a CLASSICAL tag at the start of the thread title.

It'd get more complaints from other people wanting seperate sections for other genres..
Perhaps create a list of genre icons, which can be attatched to Threads?

I see a lot of other music that gets bad mouthed, also.. so it's not just Classical.
It's a shame, really.. Why people cannot just respect that people enjoy different styles of music, is beyond me.
