Well now we have the science and math for it thanks to the European Association for Urology....

They found that men whose penis increases in size by more than 56% when erect compared to a flaccid state could be considered “growers”. Those who saw an increase in size of less than 31% were “showers”.

So I def fall into the Grower category...but they also indicate there's a grey zone.

Most men in the study, however, fell into a “grey zone” in between the two categories. Only 24% of the men were growers while 25% were classified as showers.

I used to think you could tell how big a flaccid circumcised dick would get by counting the wrinkles around the scar tissue. Sort of like determining a tree's age, only you don't have to lob it off.
 
Definitely a grower, not a shower, and glad of it.

Having a constant dangler in modern times might not be too problematic, with protective clothing and sports/battle gear and, for most of us, no carnivorous predators to speak of. Even today, though, packing the thing up for the day seems like it could be rather uncomfortable if not painful.

And, I don't believe the article said anything about wether or not there is any difference in regards to acquiring and maintaining a full erection, either. I've always considered myself a grower. I even measured (flaccid) today and did the math. I do not grow at least 31% so by that article I'm not a grower, but I'm in that grey zone.

I have wondered about this "acquiring" a full erection from a guy I knew that was a shower. I messed around this guy 4 different times. He is definitely a shower with 9 inches. Two of those times it was during a threesome. Us two growers were hard the entire time we sucked and fucked. The 3 of us sucked each other for just a few minutes (not near as long as I wanted too).
