Showtime Readies Lee's Gay Superhero

I'm interested in reading the book this project is based on.
 
I enjoyed the book for the most part, though it gets a little deus ex machina-ish at points and I think there were a few too many parodies of existing heroes.

I loved Typhoid Larry.
 
Since it would be on Showtime, I'm anticipating lots of sex in tights. I know I would definitely give it a shot.
 
Blech, can we eliminate all connections to Perry Moore and his ridiculously average novel born out of his overblown and poorly-based rage?

Hopefully this is good, but lord Perry Moore bugs me.
