Lately, I have been experiencing more discomfort than usual every time I receive anal sex. When I first started having sex less than a year ago, I was comfortably able to bottom with little pain or discomfort. However, a few months ago, my ex-boyfriend and I had painful sex without enough lube. His penis was not big by any means, so I'm not sure if this is the cause. However, since then, bottoming has been more painful than I previously remember. I occasionally perform physicals on myself by inserting a finger into my ass to make sure everything is okay. Lately, I've noticed small protrusions up to about a finger's length inside my ass. They are small, protruding lumps, about the size of a fingertip. They are not necessarily painful; however, the area is extremely sensitive, even when nothing is inserted. There is slight tension in the region whenever I constrict. The bumps are soft, smooth, and not very firm. I distinctly remember that, in the past, no such bumps existed. Furthermore, there are no signs of anything peculiar outside of my ass. Yesterday, I noticed some blood and yellow, phlegmy secretion coming out of my ass every time I pushed. Perhaps, I just scratched myself with my fingernail while giving myself an exam, or maybe it's something more. Might these be internal hemorrhoids or anal abscesses? What about genital warts, or even worse, anal cancer?

In addition, this anal discomfort has coincided with an almost complete loss of libido. I'm not sure if this is relevant or not, but I do not want to withhold any information in the even that they are related. I am only 21 years old, and this has been going on for a while now, but has become more extreme in recent months. I am almost completely incapable of achieving an erection during sex. I have basically cut masturbation out of my life and have effectively lost all interest in having sex. In the past, I would get hard if a guy so much as grazed my shoulder with his hand. Now, virtually nothing can get me hard.

I present both of these seemingly distinct problems to you at the same time, in case they are related in some way. Even if you don't think they are related, what appears to be my problem in both cases? I am going to the doctor for a physical tomorrow morning, but I figured I would ask you guys beforehand so that I have a good idea of what to expect.

hemorrhoids is my first guess and maybe your stress about them is causing your libido to decrease. imo. glad youre getting checked. hope everything works out. (*8*)

If you are noticing a puss discharge , then please get it checked out , you may have suffered a small tear in your Anal lining the last time you bottomed .

If you have it is so easy to catch an infection , more so because faeces is full of nasty bacteria , perhaps a small course of anti-biotics will clear this up for you .

Though please don`t leave it to long to be checked out .
Wishing you the best.....................Adam .

Thank you all. You have been more than helpful. Unfortunately, I have an update to share. After consulting with my doctor, it turns out that I have gonorrhea in my ass. Lately, I have been experiencing a swollen, tender feeling in my sphincter and scrotum, almost like a bruise. I believe that the discomfort associated with gonorrhea has made it painful to flex the muscles necessary for achieving an erection and ejaculating. This is probably all for the best though. If I had been able to get hard, I might have been able to have sex with someone and infect him. Fortunately, I have already gotten treatment. In the same day that my test results were revealed, I was able to stop by the health center for my shot and medication. It should be a week until all is clear, but I scheduled my follow-up for a few days after a week just to be safe. In the meantime, I won't have sex obviously.

Glad the treatment will be straightforward. In the mean time it is smart not to have sex, but even after the treatment finished, I'd be once burned twice shy if someone gave me ass gonorrhea. I don't think anyone would get me into bed without papers from the vet.

Sound like you got anal gonorrhea and anal WARTS. This why you should have had safe sex!

Consider yourself lucky that you had symptoms because untreated gonorrhea for months can cause prolonged damage. Notify your past partner(s) so they get treated fast too. Play safe next time as you see how easy these things pass around.
