Snow White and the Huntsman. Yes or No?

the reviews have been kind of mixed, but i thought it was pretty good, Charlize is SOOOOO BEAST, i fucking love her, she played the queen so perfectly, and the costume department needs an accolade or something, cause they gave ms theron some sick ass costumes.

only like a half shirtless scene from chris too.

its was ok

hands for chalize theron
hands for kritian stewart they both acted with honors

I think it looks awesome.

Charlize Theron looks like she plays the PERFECT evil queen.

It was pretty good. Charleze Theron deff carried the film and we needed to see MORE of her evilness...I agree with the critics about Kristen Stewart's portrayal of Snow White. As an actress Kristen is coming across as a one-note-pony..She gave us Bella in the flick and the Director should have made her step up her game...I guess he needed her Name & Face more than anything else...

One of the movie reviewers stated Snow White is the Directors FIRST flick and he comes from a world of Music Video production. He did good with the special effects and telling the story his way..

Is Chris not good with changing accents? I notice he's one of only a couple of Actors that gets to keep his accent in every Flick...

Same here! Gorgeous ass Charlize + a convincing evil queen = Vaseface808 all over that. Easily skipping over Battleship to see them. Sidenote - between this, The Avengers, & Cabin In The Woods, Chris Hemsworth's films have had special attention from me this year. I think that's a first.

Battleship isnt bad but its NOT a must-see....Liam Neeson was underused...The flick is about 2hrs10min and we see him about 5-min. Wait for the DVD or cable...

I'l wait for Mister Majestic's review to do the opposite.:p

I'm not going to Jump off a Bridge..You're free to do the opposite....

Bungee cord tightly fastened.

At least it's good to know you have a sense of humor. I'll give you credit on your expertise with ass but your taste in films leave something to be desired.

Btw I saw the movie over the weekend also. While visually interesting at points overall I'd recommend waiting for it to play at the discount movie theater or DVD.

Is Chris Hemsworth shirtless in it at all? If so, I'm there.

I'm conflicted.

Charlize Theron looks awesomely and dreadfully evil I want her to kill me and rip my heart out as long as she's the one doing it.

OTOH, Kristen Stewart looks...limp, pale, and stoic. I don't want to have a Twilight-like sensation in the movie.

And the opinions from my friends are divided. I guess I'll just wait for the DVD - unless someone asks me to see the movie with them.

It's not about my taste it's about my opinion. I will continue to give my opinion on movies on this site anytime I feel like it...Just like you will continue to be a nuisance and a serial harasser.

I'm going to see it tmw. Thank you all for not putting spoilers in (even though we all kinda know the basics of snow white).

I'm VERY glad that Ms. Theron is going to be in potentially TWO No. ONES at the box office in one week with Prometheus coming out on Friday.

I will stan for Theron any day and all day.

I really enjoyed the film. I'll have to disagree with many other members here and with two critics I saw on tv the night I saw the film; Theron wasn't good. She was over the top and simply screamed all her key lines while bugging her eyes out. Though she certainly did a better "queen" than Julia Roberts, the best evil queen of the year can be seen on ABC's Once Upon A Time.

Stewart essentially played Bella. Angsty, damaged, and stoic. I don't think I've ever seen her play anything other than that. She played that character in Panic Room (which was great because it was the first time I got to see it), but then she played it again in how many twilight films? But I suppose it fit the tone of the movie which was dark.

Chris Hemsworth surprised me with one scene in which he actually really acted with some compassion. It was sort of moving. I didn't expect that because he tends to just make for good eye candy and action sequences. Probably the best I've seen from him so far.

Overall, the movie was pretty enjoyable. My husband LOVED it, but I wasn't as impressed as he was. Still though, I'd recommend it.

I saw it.....I agree that Stewart killed this movie for me.

Theron was on point...but it was no..."Monster" if you know what I mean.

There was a continuity issue with William (Duke's son) getting to Theron's kingdom in no time when it took them half the movie to get back to his dad's castle. Leading to the DRAGGY middle scenes.

Furthermore, the interplay between William and The Huntsman set the movie up for a sequil...which I do not think is a good idea...IMHO.

Based on Theron alone and the Creep who played her brother, I give it 3.0/5.

I will not go into any more detail for those who have not seen the film yet.

Just got back from watching it, best thing was the visuals, amazingly done, the story however felt kinda flat, I was expecting more scenes with the queen, Kristine did not annoy me as much as I thought. Overall it was not bad.
