im a so cal resident too hahaha and im already seeing it midnight pre ordered y tickets yesterday!!!!! haha im such a nerd

Jasun and I are pretty much on for going to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 together, but thought it would be a fun thing to include all So Cal or surrounding area HP fans too.

I am not sure exactly what day or time, I have actually never seen a Harry Potter movie in theaters. From what I understand it is crazy on opening night, so I am thinking we wait. But I am up for the challenge if anyone wants to try for it.

HP opens November 19 and is in IMAX which would be a great experience. There are a handful of IMAX theaters in this area and once I have an idea of how many people would like to be involved I will find the perfect spot to meet.

OK enough jabbering. Who's in?

Where are you guys planning on seeing it? I'd love to go if you guys don't mind. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan...I forgot how soon the premiere was!

Alright, sounds good. I'm assuming it'd be in the Los Angeles area, and I'm coming from Carlsbad, so I just wanted to gauge how far exactly I'd be driving. I'm not too familiar with anywhere but Orange County, but I think I'll be okay with my GPS. I'll be sure to check the thread for your posts. :-)

I think I should be able to make it as long as I can perhaps stay the night at my sister's. I don't think I'd be up to drive the two hours home from Sherman Oaks that late at night after the movie. I'll get back to you once I figure out if my sister can have me.

I will be seeing HP7.1 at 12:01 am on November 19, then driving an hour and a half home to get to sleep to get to work the next morning.

Be true HP fans and fandango some tickets and goto a midnight show!​
 
Glad you extended. i still have no clue if I can make it. The 'sometimes' better half doesnt wanna go to LA and meet JUBbers <shrug>. Not real keen on a late night cruise back to Sandy Eggo. I don't have Jon's sister to use as a hostel either... :(


I really wanna do it though so we will see....
