So here is my question, two weeks ago I went to the doctor, because I felt like I had to pee all the time. The doctor never labeled what I had and treated me with two antibotics. (He thought it might be some type of bacteria.) I finished up the medicine this past Wednesday and it now feels like I have to pee all the time once again! I don't have any pain, just seems like I have to pee every hour.

Anybody else have or had similar problem? If it is still bugging me tomorrow I plan to go to the doctor, but I really don't know what to think.

Help!

Did the feeling go away while you were taking the antibiotics? You might need a different or longer course of drugs. Did he check your prostate? Did he check your blood sugar?

Yes, the feeling went away during the antibiotics. And nope he didn't check either.

Insist that he does a urine specimen, digital prostate exam, check your blood sugar/glucose and a PSA test. Fast from 7 p.m. the night before until after you doctor visit. Go early in the morning. That way he can do the glucose that morning. No water, no coffee or tea, nothing until the test. Tell him you are fasting so he can do the tests. Urinary tract infections are often just infection but can be a sign of other problems, especially when they are recurring.

SOmetimes frequent urge to urinate is a sign of diabetes. Check with your doctor about it.
