It's extremely needed. Typing on an iPhone and iPad is horrendous. You can just see two or three words at a time and with Apple's autocorrect, if you don't check your posts (which I often don't), your messages are reduced to gibberish.
 
I stopped using my iPhone to post on JUB, I think it would take a lot of work and posting it on the App Store it might get reported by a bunch of homophobes to get it taken off the store.
 
I brought this up OVER a YEAR ago...

And Corny's response was that he has a friend that uses his cellphone JUST FINE to access JUB -- therefore, and APP is NOT needed... :confused:

HOPEFULLY they are not still of the same opinion...

Well the difference with making posts on my Mac laptop and making posts on my iPhone. Is that I can type fast on my laptop and have to press smell buttons with my fat FINGERS on the iPhone.

Plus for some odd reason when I use Safari browsing JUB the typing lags a bit which sucks. Also the auto correct is a bitch too. So maybe if there was an app where it opened up it's own little typing feature without lag it would be better on the phone.
 
Maybe we should start a petition. Or someone take a poll to see if there is a big interest in an app.
 
Yeah, an app would definitely be awesome. It'll be way easier to use an app, instead of just accessing it directly through Safari. =/ WAY easier.
 
I said that I don't see the need for one. And frankly .. I still don't. But that doesn't matter because I am not the one who would make one unless someone is willing to pay me the shitload of money to compensate for the time that such a development would cost.


Apart from that .. have you guys ever read the app stores ToS? A JUB app would NOT be allowed.

That's apple politics for you.

I'm not talking about an app. I'm talking about a mobile site. That wouldn't need to go through Apple.
 
For the message board, JUB just needs to create a CSS file adapted to handheld medias.
