I know what you mean. I've only told a few friends but I started with girls cause they are less likely to act grossed out about gay guys.

Congratulations!!! The first one is always the hardest. I bet it won't take another 21 years before you tell someone else.

Woah, rafael, you're gay? Who'd've known? :P

Congrats mate, like it's been said, I doubt it'll take another 21 years. Just go with the pace your comfortable at, and stop when you wanna.

As someone who just made that same step last week, congratulations! (!) While I came out to 2 women at the same time, it wasn't necessarily because they WERE women; they are sisters and one is a lesbian, so I figured they'd be ok with it.

I know it was difficult for you and your 21 years, but to the younger guys here who haven't come out, don't wait until you're 40 like I did. Don't let the fear paralyze you like I allowed it to!

Just take it slow, and think about who would be the best candidate to tell next. You'll be able to do it.

congrats dude. i did the same thing just but 72 hours ago. except my best friends a guy. i have alot more guy friends than girls and the close friends i do have that are girls are the... privileged and judgmental types so i'm waiting until i can muster the courage to be ok with being out before i tell them. how'd she take it? was it a "STFU?! Really? april fools isn't until tomorrow you know" type thing or was it more "aww ily and thank you for being honest with me." i got both, in that order. but anyways, congratulations. :)

Congratulations! (*8*)

Coming out to anyone is a big step. I came out about three years ago to my best friend, and he took it surprisingly well. Only a few people besides him know, and I'm slowly building up the confidence to come out 100%~

Take it slow, and I hope you'll be able to do it again.

:wave::goodluck:=D:

I told my best friend (a guy) when I was 14 and he was quite OK with it. In fact, he later asked me to blow him. Haha. Thus began a new level to our friendship. Oddly enough, we are still great friends today (I'm 24), though that's not the norm.

Best wishes to you, honey!:wave:
