Is anti-dandruff shampoo good for your face/body ?

For a few days now, i used anti-dandruff shamoo for everything include cleaning face, ears, foreskin ...etc when having a shower. It works.

It seems like a perfect full body wash when having a shower.
I think soap is abit too dry for your face.


Soap for shower might be fading out for me.
Anyone using anti-dandruff shampoo as a soap replacement as well ?

Very interesting... never thought of using the anti-dandruff this way. Might help with some of the minor skin disorders on the body.

^ well, i can feel my skin is less dry compare to soap.
I might keep on using anti-dandruff shampoo for everything in the shower. Also it is value for money too.

The one i'm using is Palmolive Anti-Dandruff Shampoo (tea tree & Eucalyptus extract). Feels nice and fresh.

Sorbolene Body Wash (note - anyone outside Australia/NZ probably won't know what the hell I am talking about - but it is the best stuff going. Soap free, moisturising to the skin - all good.

I think you'll find it far better than soap or shampoo.

But Sorbolene ONLY wash your body and not your hair.

Also how much is Sorbolene body wash cost?
Palmolive Anti-Dandruff Shampoo 400ml only cost $4 or $5.

I wonder what the active ingredients are that make it a dandruff shampoo and how much of it can get absorbed into your body through your skin over time?

But surely a simple shower gel costs less than a dandruff shampoo if that's your crtierion.

I have actually used it on my hair as well - seems to work just fine (I don't have dandruff, tho').

Oh - and the one I use costs around Aus $9 for a 1litre pump pack (which is slightly cheaper than your shampoo).

i have to try out Sorbolene Body Wash.
Hoping they put some fragrance in the Sorbolene.

I know (from a friend who works there) that Aveda shampoo and bodywash are the exact same formula with different fragrances added. Then again, it's a high-end product. I don't think I would trust drugstore shampoo, especially if it were medicated for dandruff.

You can get combination shampoo/bodywash at the drugstore inexpensively. I think it would be safer. Especially if you're using it on your face.
