In the group of people I ran around with from about 1989 - 1994 (when we finally were all so scattered that we have to have "reunions" from time to time) it was our custom to greet each other with "Hey, kids, what's up?" I liked it.

Lately I've been called Dad, but not Kid. ;)

Chrissie Hynde to Publish Memoir

The golden women of rock ‘n’ roll have more stories to tell.

Chrissie Hynde, the founder and frontwoman of the Pretenders, will publish a “literary memoir” with Doubleday on Sept. 8, the company said. The book sold for seven figures in an auction, according to two sources familiar with the deal, but who were not authorized to speak on the record.
