By move, I mean emotionally of course. Whether that is happy, sad or the subject of the song just really resonates with you that you just fall in love with it.

The subject matter for the first song I am posting about, is a big one. The subject matter of this song is about rape, the lyrics to this song are unbelievable. I've never heard the subject sung about a lot at all, and in such a matter that describes it so raw, so sad, so angry. The perspective this song gives on rape really opened my eyes when I first heard it. And to this day it still moves me.

This will forever remind me of my friends who died...most a long time ago now.....I consider them "Home"....

Burial is something else and his music just generally takes me out of my body, he creates such a atmosphere with his music that it's just so moving. I just get lost in it.

I like this because it reminded me of how I always spent alot of time plotting how to get away from my family....she touches alot of nerves for me...and then her other song "For My Lover"...I totally get it....

I've always liked bloc party since the day I heard them, always enjoyed their lyrics. When I found out their vocalist was gay, their lyrics became that much more to me.

I, I still remember
how you looked that afternoon.
There was only you.

You said "it's just like a full moon".
Blood beats faster in our veins
We left our trousers by the canal
And our fingers, they almost touched

When the trappings of the body
Lead me to that hopeless place
And I feel my spirit crumble
Under strain and under guilt
Lay me down in rivers cleansing
Where the tall grass grows and grows
And let me wait until
My savior comes home

One of the very few times I wanted to watch the credits, when this song started playing at the end of this game I just sat and turned everything else off. Then I fell in love with the piece.

Whether it be constantly going back to a love, an addiction or back into depression, i feel it all.

Belle (2013) about the beginning of the end of slavery due to England's Lord Chief High Justice's nephew (who was white) bringing his daughter - half black - to his uncles' estate when she was but a child. It changed the course of slavery in the UK and by the late 1700s, it was considered highly disreputable to have a slave. Not to mention that Belle is a true story.
