Hi there! Recently, I started noticing soreness in my testicles. It's been happening for the last several weeks now and it's caused my libido to go down and when I have masturbated I'll cum but the feeling is no longer there. Anyone know if these two issues are related or have dealt with similar issues. I don't have health insurance or the funds to go see a doctor right now, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Are there free health clinics or public health clinics ran by the state in Southern California?

I recently got tested at the health department at no cost. I'm thinking a similar clinic near you can examine you for free.

I just got home from a doctor's visit two hours ago -- where I was diagnosed with Epididymitis. I was having soreness near (and in) my left testicle accompanied by centralized pressure and tightness in my groin. He checked for a hernia, but found no sign of that, but said I had the Epididymitis.

It could be a sign that you have it, even if you don't have all of the symptoms (I wasn't having pain when urinating, nor the fever or a discharge).

I know you said you had no insurance or money to pay for it, but if there's a free clinic (or even a health department) nearby, maybe you could see whether you could be examined.

Thank you for the responses! I have been dealing with this pain on and off for the last year or so. I've had doctors check my testicles and I even had an ultrasound last time I was at the doctors earlier this year. I think I need to see a urologist, because recently it's been causing me more discomfort. It could be possible I do have epididymitis.

Strangelittleboy - How old are you if you don't mind me asking and do you feel sensation when you masturbate? I'm only 26 years old, so I hope this isn't ED or anything serious. It could also be possible that I have a hernia from working out... I'm not sure, but I'm going to go ahead and make an appointment with the free clinic and hopefully get a referral to see a urologist.

I'm 30 (and still feel sensations when masturbating).

When my doctor looked for signs of a hernia, he kept feeling the tissues slightly above and near the testicles and kept asking me if I felt any pain. So, maybe you could just feel around (if you feel any suspicious lumps or bumps that are painful to the touch, let whoever it is that examines you know).

There is a laundry list of explanations of what it could be.

I have IBS and when I am stressed and nervous, excess gas/bloating often causes my testes to get sore. So it might not be serious but you need to get it checked at a doctor. This is not something the internet can diagnose.

I'm late to the thread, because I was looking for a thread about this actually. I started to experience the same feeling a few weeks ago.

I'm curious to see what was causing your symptoms. My right testicle is the one that's causing the discomfort.

Hey man, thanks for your response. You know, I never did get around to going to the doctor. I came to the conclusion that the pain was from overexercising. When I don't exercise for a few days my nuts are fine, but when I exercise they'll start to hurt the next day. I'm not sure about the lack of sensation when masturbating though... I'm starting to think it's from stress and getting older? I really have no sexual desires these days. :(

Do you exercise a lot? Could be a reason... If you have access to a doctor, I'd get yourself checked out.
