Anything gonna pick this game up when it comes out?

I think The Soul Cailbur series is starting to play out a little, didnt seem like 3 was too different from 2...nothing too exiting brought to the table you know?

I hear theres a new finishing system or something havent looked too much into it

Darth Vader and Yoda are in it for some strange reason...but I think id be fun to play as a character that is half the size of everyone else

I can't wait to check this one out.:D I am wondering who designs these characters though because Ivy's boobs have gotten ridiculous.

^ yeah, that's a lot of ballast to be fighting with. must throw her entire center of gravity off. ;)

i'm looking forward to the game as well. it's gorgeous to look at and the game play has been pretty smooth in the past. and i have to admit it will be fun to play yoda. :mrgreen:
 
Yoda's on the 360 only? Well Im getting the 360 one and that is the Star Wars Character i am most looking forward to is Yoda.

But I heard Namco stated somewhere (dont have the article) that they might have both SW charcters downloadable at a later date because viewers stated:

"How disappointed we were about losing the chance to see Vader and Yoda go toe to toe"

I'm definately getting it. Soul blade and Caliburs 1+2 were awesome. I played 3 a bit and wasn't impressed (ivy in white, why?) but this looks equally amazing.

OMG, The Apprentice is a cheap bastard! It took me 15 minutes to beat him!

I loooove Character Creator mode. I made a sweet chick and a really hot guy! I'm gonna go make more...
 
I've spent more time in character creation than any other mode. My favorites are Condoleeza Rice wielding a big ass scythe and Sean Connery in a frilly shirt and hot pink underwear :badgrin:
 
I've been thinking about getting this...it looks pretty awesome! I haven't played any Soul Calibur games since I sold my PS2 a few months back.
 
I got mine delivered a day early. The only annoying thing is the criminal lack of Team Battle, and that Ivy's moves were remapped. I used to be a beast with her and now I'm having to relrearn her entire style. And Voldo is still awesome. Very good game.
 
I got it for the 360, and hot damn is it awesome.
I've made four characters so far.
One is the Prince from Prince of Persia, and another looks like Gabrielle from Xena.
My best characters so far are probably Kilik and Yun-seung

I've noticed an empty space next to Yoda and Starkiller...wonder who that might be for...? ;)
 
omg, Tower mode is fucking hard!

Anybody else have the PS3 version? Wanna invite and play online?
 
I can't wait to get a PS3 and SCIV - beating the crap out of everyone with my pointy Raphael rapier is ever so naughty. :D
