I get that you are a misanthrope....but just because you see no progress isn't because there isn't any. It is just that apparently your own personal experience doesn't align with this (sorry if this is the case) or that you are always and so consistently nihilistic and contrarian that you have shut down a million ways it might have.

I agree. And since we're talking about personal experiences, we only know about our own life and have no idea about other's. We know nothing about "the world" or "society".
I know for me it got much, much better over the last 20 years.
