I think the pitcher on the mantle is at different angles in the two pictures.
 
What would Occupational Health and Safety have to say about that! I was going to say that the colour of the cloak on the guy at the far left is different...

Pal --- actually two of them gopt rid of the facial hair - AND - the guy in the very back got himself a companion - so instead of there being only 6, now there are 7 - and yes, of course the clothing has been removed - and the object on the upper wall next to the "new" guy in the back has been removed. I don'[t see where the pitcher is at a different angle, though ....
 
I fear one or two people have missed the point of this thread.

The "Spot The Difference" tiitle and the reference to "subtle" changes to the original are tongue-in-cheek! ;)

Anyway, I am familiar with this painting (the original, that is!) having studied it at College. That's Vulcan (husband of Venus) second from left. The youth at the extreme left is Apollo, the God of Light.

I only wish I had access to the homo-eroticized version back then, as I am sure my rather conservative professor would have been gobsmacked! :eek:

I have to say the version by Falco is very skillfully done. :=D:
