Star Trek;Next Generation....

I loved TNG, probably because I grew up with it. DS9 was good, I just didn't like the end with all the Pah-Wraith and Prophet stuff. I loved Voyager, too, they did some interesting stuff with the whole Delta Quadrant angle.

I really like Jeri Ryan and Terry Farrell for the girls and Brent Spiner, Michael Dorn, Avery Brooks, Robert Duncan McNeill and Garrett Wang for the guys. (Based on looks alone!) As far as acting goes, I liked Patrick Stewart, Brent Spiner, Marina Sirtis, Michael Dorn, Avery Brooks, Terry Farrell, Alexander Siddig, Rene Auberjonois, (after the first season or so, when they really started exploring Odo's character) Kate Mulgrew, Robert Picardo and Roxann Dawson.

OK, so I got carried away.

I didn't like Enterprise as much, it was fine for the first couple seasons but then when they got into all the Xindi and time-travel stuff I felt it got too crazy. I did like TOS, but some of it was just so cheesy that it isn't in my top 3.

I'm gonna stop talking now. Enough from me! ;)

Yesterday, in an episode of Voyager, I saw the Borg queen showing to 7/9 what humans look like, helping herself with a 3D hologram of a PERFECT STUD in speedos.... that was a good surprise !!!... ;)

who do u think would win in a battle between Voyager and the TNG enterprise?

I think it would be pretty evenly matched because voyager is smaller and more maneuverable and one of the tng episodes showed the enterprise getting beaten by that crappy old ship in war games. Besides Captain Picard is grumpy old man.

LOL You guys are funny!

okay letting my geek side show for a second.

Voyager is an Intrepid-class starship
Size Length/Height/Beam: 344/64/132 feet
Phasers: 4x (four phasers two on the top, two on the bottom)
One torpedo launcher in the centre (can fire forwards or backwards)
Primary Missions: exploration, survey, and courier.

Enterprise-D (one from TNG series) is a Galaxy-class starship
Size Length/Height/Beam: 641/137/467
Phasers: 5x (2 on saucer, 3 on stardrive and 1 concealed on stardrive)
Torpedo launchers are two in the stardrive section, 2 in the front saucer section
Primary Missions: deep-space explorers, scientifiic research and mobile weapons platform for deployment into hostile areas of space.

*all info from Star Trek RPG game book (starships) produced by Deciper.

Needly to say unless Voyager manages to get the shield modulators (like Riker did on that episode, which caused the crappy little ships phasers to pass through enterprises shields) Voyager will be a sitting duck. Enterprise doesn't have to move, it can fire from all angles.

I'm going to have to put my geek hat on, too. Those are Voyager's original specs, and don't take into consideration the weapons they recieved from the future in "Endgame". Transphasic torpedoes. Ablative armour. I'm going to have to vote Voyager, too.

Enterprise is powerful, but honestly, they don't know how to use her. The most obvious example was when they lost the Enterprise-D in Generations, facilitated by Riker spending FAR too long questioning Worf about weaknesses in Lursa and B'Etor's ship. It's a forty year old Bird-of-Prey. It's weaknesses are to you KICKING THE SHIT OUT OF IT! [-X

Yeah but shields are still shields and once again the 40 year old klingon bird of prey had figured out the shield modifactions thanks to Geordi! SO the photon torpedoes where passing through the shields hitting the ship hull.

Any Star Trek fans?
Star Trek The Next Generation I always liked still see it in reruns and hopefully there be another movie out, also the Star Trek with Jayne Way as captain was excellent. And the first Star Trek was good. Capt Kirk had few scenes with his shirt off.:p

Any fans..? lol of course!

TOS was good back then, but i can't hardly stand to watch it now.
TNG: was excellent i loved it from the start, although season 1 and 2 weren't really that good (have them all on DVD)
DS9 i hated from the get go, and didn't watch more than a few episodes when it was on the air. later i started watching it on Spike TV for my trek fix and ended up getting seasons 3-7 on DVD.
VOY: i also loved and i really like it better than the others. I have all but season 7 on DVD, which i refused to buy when they canceled enterprise.
ENT: i like because it was trek. i am not a purest and i didn't really care that "they" messed with a little bit of the background of trek. seasons 3 and 4 were really good.

this movie thing...i think is stupid. they should have learned from ENT that the prequel idea didn't work for most fans. so what do they do...they make a prequel movie.

i think with all the future enhancements that VOY got at the end would mean it would win in a battle between it and ENT-D

You know...Voyager would have to be stripped down and taken apart by the Section 31 standards. She contained Future Tech that could influence and possible unbalance the alpha quadrant. :)

at any rate we will never know how would win! :) Besides....I like the Enterprise-E better and even better is the Defiant! :D

Love TNG and Voyager. However, I never saw the last couple season of Voyager because it started to get boring.

I can't even watch the old Star Trek tv shows...the acting is just too horrendous. Like the movies though.

I am a total Star Trek fan. I am addicted to TNG and Voyager and is unbeatable tie. But I really have to agree, I bought Seasons 5 - 7 of DS9 as well. Janeway does have pretty big balls, I do have to admit.
