Starcraft II

i know, it looks UH-MAZE-ING too. The graphics are out of this world, so are the vids... I wish MY company was making it! Would love to work on it. I can understand why Blizzard waited so long, they wanted to wait until they could make Starcraft II exactly what they wanted it to be, visually, and experience wise. I guess technology finally caught up to their ideas.

My life for Aiur!

i cant' wait... been waiting since starcraft came out for this.... now i just have to last til the release date, whenever that may be...

ohhhh yeah! i'm suuuuuper stoked it's finally announced.

:gogirl::gogirl::gogirl::gogirl::gogirl::gogirl:

i've been a big fan of the protoss myself :D

Last time I got excited like that was the time I first saw the Transformers movie trailer.

I don't play starcraft, but I have a friend that is just crazy about it (Annoying crazy actually)

anyway, if that graphics aren't spectacular what is?

You've gone a little too far there. They even said they'll make it so it can run on the most computers possible.

They're great, but they really aren't spectacular.
The Cinematics might be, and frankly I'd like you to elaborate on how you know they're state of the art when system requirements haven't even been released yet.

How can i tell? LOL. Umm, because i work on games like this every day, it's my job. I can tell from the screenshots exactly what kind of render system they're using, and what kind of game engine it's using. I know exactly what kind of work has to go into making graphics for it (because i've done it), and i know that it's state of the art for DX9.

Something you have to realize is that with the latest generation of graphics optimization, it's possible to run state of the art graphics on older machines. I know this because i work with the hardware and software development of these techniques every day. I don't need to see the system requirements to tell you about it. I could probably write the system requirements for them based on seeing the screenshots. But again, i do this for a living every day, not everyone is that immersed in the subject.

i really hope the system requirement isn't too high though... not sure when i will be getting a new computer.... and my old one is kinda getting old now....

Ohhh la la... I'm excited. I liked SC more than i liked the warcraft or diablo games. I've waited forevvvver for SCII to come out.

I can't download the game videos. I get "an incompatible network driver was detected, peer to peer is disabled." i get that message with WoW also when trying to download updates. they don't usually not download, but it might take over night to download a 450 MB file. i guess it's just not downloading at a very high speed. so far the first game avi has sat at 0% for like 10 minutes and i think i'm going to stop it.

sure hope they are cool graphics. ;)

OMG well i got to watch them on youtube, there are like 4. the graphics look excellent! i must say, and that's lower quality youtube stuff. lol.

proven, what do ya think the specs will be? ;) i really really hope i can play it on my existing comp.

OOOOOH My god!!! sweet jesus of bread!

Finally I can return to the Terrans! :) "Anybody need a light!"
