hey, sounds like the price war will stimulate some shopping soon.........I try to buy throughout the year to avoid the crowds but I do enjoy just sitting around in the malls and see the frantic shoppers go about their shopping.......btw, wish we had a car wash like the pic in yur gallery 321.........would be a real money maker and my car would be ever so squeaky clean 24/7.

I love to give gifts. especially to my niece and nephew. They are 4 and 6 this year. Hope I can find the right gifts this year. I am clueless what to get them but I will find it. :xmas:

I hate Christmas It's now just one big retail event, kind of ironic that it is about the only day of the year when all the shops shut.
 
I'm excited about Christmas this year. I'm making my daughter a toy refrigerator and stocking it with wooden, play food. It'll have a magnetic front, complete with alphabet letter magnets.

Anyway, I LUV Christmas time, and Christmas shopping, although I do 90
percent of it online these days.

I enjoy it for other reasons. There's a certain, um, 'energy' at the malls that
only happens this time of year. Plus, it's a hoot to watch Str8 guys try to shop,
as well. :badgrin: I swear, most of them haven't been any deeper into the mall than the tool department at Sears since this time last year.

Watch them bumping into each other, red-faced in Victoria's Secret.

It brings me great joy.
