Herpes scares the crap out of me. The others you require some bodily fluid transmission.

But for herpes all you have to do is touch the bastard when he's having an outbreak to get it....

While it's good to be aware of the risks, herpes doesn't necessarily need to "scare the crap out of you". Don't let fear of STDs paralyze you. Educate yourself more about the risks, what you can do to minimize them and what you can do if you get infected.

The fact of the matter is that a majority of gay men carries the genital herpes (HSV-2) virus and a large majority of the overall population carries oral herpes (HSV-1), which means all of us are likely to be exposed to it (and many acquire if we haven't already) at some point. Fortunately, the virus isn't deadly (unlike HIV or even untreated Syphilis) or even really all that harmful in and of itself except for the fact that if you have sores you're at higher risk for acquiring HIV. Oh im also feel scared of herpes. I mean outbreaks of herpes can sometime be caused by stress. Now ask yourself, how often do you get stressed? That will most probably be the amount of times herpe sores will erupt on your body. Now, are you still not scared? Plus how are you going to explain to people, family, friends why you always have 'cold sores'? Its not that cold where i live....

Then I guess you'll never put a dick in your mouth because you can never be 100% sure it's disease free. Guys cheat, tests give false negatives, diseases are caught through non-sexual means, some diseases like herpes cannot be simply detected with a test, etc.

We all take risks every day (like riding in a moving vehicle). It's all about balancing risk and benefit. That balance of course is a personal decision, but just keep in mind that living an entirely risk free life tends to be unrewarding and uninteresting.

You can catch gonorrhoea, chlamydia, syphilis, hepatitis B, herpes, genital warts, scabies and HIV whilst giving or getting a blowjob.
