That guy´s job was very risky, and I knew that sooner or later he would get involved in a terrible accident. Unfortunately it was a fatal one.

THANK YOU!

I've been wondering for years how that man was still alive.

Sad to see him go, though. He cracked me up!

"Steve Irwin´s death: It was about to happen sooner or later"

Well, you can say that about all of us. Whether we wrangle crocodiles for a living, or crunch numbers all day long.

Gosh, why dont we just let the poor family greav, on the news at the moment in aus, this german ladie, i dont know her name i forget, she is drilling the shit out of steve?? and why, cause you dont know the facts, just cause he did a risky job, well shit, leave him alone, he did donate a lot to charity, saved a lot of animals, help human beings, <<<< and people have the balls to hang shit on him, i think if your going to be narsty towards him or family keep them to yourself, and do some surfing on the internet and get your facts right!!! steve irwin was a pleasent man, R.I.P steve, and Wishes to his family

What original and timely insight, Hunky. Thank you for posting and sharing your wisdom.

Brisboy21, are you talking about Germaine Greer? Well she is Australian and she voiced her displeasure at Steve Irwins methods/antics years ago.

Instead of attacking her, why not ask yourself why the reporter from the Nine network saw fit to raise the issue at all in the middle of all this grief, unless it was to get ratings for a breakfast program on the skids.

And as for "doing his job"... The job was his invention.... he worked for himself.

yeh, thats kools, all im saying is i do NOT agree with germaine greer at all, i think she has picked a very very bad time to be sayin stuff like this, he has only passed a few days ago, and people are all ready sticking the knives in his back, just looks like they never had the balls to goto his zoo and say it to his face that got to hide behind a camera ..... but like i said everybody had a different opinion and mine is leave him alone, he did a lot for australia and so many people, i herd on the radio last night, he was filmin a doco a few yrs ago, and were he was filming the doco there was people playin football, he put the doco on hold to go talk with the group have a bit of fun, u dont see people just stoping there jobs to meet the public,

But Brisboy, the fact is that you cannot expect Germaine Greer to go back on what she said years ago, and especially if she still believes in it, when the man's dead.

It wasn't her that brought it up again but Karl Stefanovic from the Nine Network. She merely reiterated those statements of years ago.

ok, i didnt know that sorrz mate, i just have a real passion for this guy, sorry if you thought i was gettin shitty with you, i meet him in real life and he is a real nice person, and i was totally shattered when i herd bout this, im just sticking up for him,

If you don't want risky...don't drive on the highway....

I have friends that climb cellphone towers....they should stop..

Don't swim or go scuba diving in the ocean....

No more watching race car driving...your promoting a risk to drivers...

Don't have sex...without a condom....:dead:

And so on....and so on....

holding poisionous snakes by the tail

getting within a 1/2 of a foot of a crocodile while holding your baby

sneaking up on animals that CAN AND WILL kill a human

These are things that Steve Irwin did on a regular basis,

These are not normal everyday things to be doing...

what YOU mentioned ARE normal things to do, a far cry from the stupid antics that Steve Irwin did.
I'ts terrible what happened to him, and it's even worse what the family is going through. But the man was treading dangerous lines, with what he was doing with his life. YES it was bound to happen.

BTW-- I don't dislike the man, I enjoyed watching his shows, and seeing his crazy antics on television. he will be missed.

The ONLY reason that wretched Greer woman lambasted Steve Irwin while he was alive and now that he's dead is because it gives her some good media attention. She could give a fat rat's ass how he treated animals during his life. As a matter of fact, I'm quite sure she'd be much happier if he had been caught killing a few cuddly Koala Bears. That would have been just the ticket she's looking for.

This might sound inappropriate considering the time but I found the guy HOT. Those chunky legs sticking out of his shorts -- WHEW!! And a sexy personality to go with it.

From the moment we are all born, we are already dying of a terminal condition.

Aging.

We cant choose when we are born, we cant really choose when we die (ok we can can commit suicide, but if your time is up your time is up)
<snip>

Life is a death sentence.

I can't remember who said it but here it goes:

"Suicide is ones way of saying to G-d: 'screw you; I quit.'"

I thought he was cute also., I think it's OK to say that. His death is very sad. He obviously loved animals and seemed very dedicated to what he did, so much so that it cost him his life. I feel very sorry for his family.

i don't really know Steve Irwin except that i've seen a few of his tv shows which were quite entertaining, except the one where he held his baby while feeding a crocodile. what was that all about? i must have missed something, but was it supposed to be entertaining, educational or what? well, i didn't find it entertaining nor educational at all, it was stupid...
