Go ahead and working out again & again and one day you'll look like a MAN !

i cant..i feel so bad cos i wanna feel good about it but i guess i just have to accept that thier is a difference, otherwise ill be tempted to stop losing altogether...

Good for you. First off you should be losing weight for your health, not for how you look. At 40 pounds lost I bet you feel better, can move better and are just in overall better health. Your risk for high blood pressure, heart attack and becoming diabetic has dropped. The strain on your back and knees has decreased and your have extended your life span by a few years.

Keep up the good work. Remember, your health is most important, looks are secondary.

It does take a while--- I started out a bit heavier than you did and it has taken me about a year and half to get down to 175 and I do go up and down and bit in weight---I still think of myself as fat and am surprised that people think that I look in shape, because I know there are parts of my body that need work.

Health is a great benefit---but most people do it to look better. The reason does not really matter---you get both benefits.

so far in this thread there has been no mention of diet; you can work out as much as you want but if your diet is rubbish then you wont see results.

eat mostly plant based foods that haven't been processed, learn to like lentils and beans, and eat more stuff that has the word "brown" or "whole" in front of it. up your fruit in take, drink more water and turn off the heating in the house

I see a huge difference. Keep working at it and you'll get to where you want to be. But look at the pictures from before and after again and you can definitely see you making progress. Good for you!

my diet is a complete turnaround from what it was...i havent had soda, fried foods, fast food or red meat for four months now...and i actually eat FOUR small portions a day instead of eating all day like i used to...

I can't see the pics but that sounds like a big difference to me. Just keep on doing what you've been doing. You can't expect to see results right away; it takes time.

Yes, you will!

Doing it the right way, dieting and exercising, you can expect to lose about 1 kg (or about 2 lbs) a week. You've lost 40 lbs in less than 20 weeks, so you're doing very well.

Do the math and you can figure out how long it'll take to be perfect... the pictures you posted are clearly showing an improvement, but you're only about half way there. Again, you're doing really well. Just keep it up and you'll get there.
