I started getting notifications a week ago but I ignored them because I thought it was the typical Holiday crush.

But it turns out that Kraft/Heinz has been hit by the double whammy - bulk supplier, raw ingredient shortages; plus product recalls covering a wide range of products.

Amazon Fresh now can't keep popular foods in stock, even beyond cream cheese. So far, Fruit Cake seems to be fully available.

I am now into week 3 of NO Half & Half - I have been to a half dozen places and none is to be found anywhere - the supply of liquid non-dairy creamer is rapidly disappearing as well -

It seems cream cheese isn't the only item that is going to be hard to get....also on that list is fresh produce.

I bought Lucerne cream cheese this week. That's the Albertsons/Safeway/Acme/Randalls/Jewel-Osco store brand.

I was hoping there was a spike in demand for Philadelphia Brand cream cheese since they very visibly sponsored "A Clusterfunke Christmas" on Comedy Central last Saturday. I love that movie.

I enjoyed a lovely fresh cream cheese this morning....I have to say...there may be some advantages to Canuckistan keeping our dairy industry local.

However...I cannot find Jack Daniels, because of THE SQUARE BOTTLE SHORTAGE going back to June 2021.

Are people even trying any more?

Its not bad on bagles. But I have recipes that are only for philly any other brand for whatever reason does not work right same recipe same steps but one set up and one didn't; Philly set up Prairie Farms did not!
