Straight, JUB equivalent forum

I love JUB; but, I'm curious to see if there is a straight, JUB equivalent site? One that has polls/quizzes and discussions about religion, politics, relationships, porn, and sex. A justuspeople perhaps?

I've seen some forums geared towards straight people but they generally only contain discussions about sex--which is hot but not something I can't get at home.

Huh??? In my circle, a breeder is someone who chooses to have a family over a career which the rest of us young prof smirk at. The breeder is the person who can't work late hours, won't skip holidays w/ the fam, has to call home every other hour to let the spouse know that they'll be late, dislikes traveling for work, etc all b/c they have children to rush home for. Anyone can be a breeder

I didn't realize that gay people called straight people breeders. So, is that the equiv of queer? That's funny!

So, any straight forums out there???

I had no idea that we were called breeders b/c we're straight. I've never heard anyone use it outside of my group. It's very derogatory too. The breeder just can't cut it at work and the rest of us are ready to slit their throats (it's a competitive environment). There is a gay, single man who has an eight year old (he was married before) and he can't come into the courtroom w/o mentioning little Sarah. He's a total breeder! A real atty would come in with the game face on...a breeder is just distracted.

Do gay people consider all straight people to be breeders? Does it have the same neg connotation that it does to me?

Oh, I forgot this before but a breeder is also anyone who has a litter of children. My bf and I were shopping at the mall and this lady walked by w/ five, whinny, dirty, children. Jason and I started laughing--she was a breeder!

Seriously though, is there a justforuspeople (and there clearly isn't--I've already checked).
There doesn't have to be any naked women on it OK455. Naked chicks don't excite me either! Ummm, I put this post in the "straight and bi dudes and the ladies who love them" thread so I wouldn't disgust the gay men. Well, I'm one of the ladies...sort of. My guy is straight but I LOVE gay porn so that counts!

Honestly, I don't know if there is something like that or not. Maybe one of the straight women could answer this for you.

And yeah, the term "breeder" is generally a derogatory term within the gay community. Not totally sure of the complete history, but we (Oklahoma gays) started using it in the early 90s to refer to straight couples that constantly have sex and have babies -i.e. the barefoot and pregnant types.

I do, however, use the term in a loving way to refer to my best friend and her husband. I tease them about being "breeders" whenever they get "frisky" around me. What can I say -I'm jealous she's getting the attention...

I wasn't attacking ya Inwood and my "breeder" explanation was a bit long. I knew that you weren't being serious; but, I'm not a feeler by any means so it wouldn't have bothered me anyway. You're comment was funny!

I guess there isn't a straight forum that is similar to JUB. I sincerely wanted to know since it would be useful to get relationship, career, life advice from other people. I certainly don't intend to bombard JUB with those types of questions since it's a forum for gay men and the issues that they face.

Don''t worry about it. We're a happy-go-lucky mix of gay/straight/bi/uncertain men/women/transgender that are happy to discuss any and every thing. Sure, we sometimes get snippy/bitchy, but some topics do that to a person.

Ask what you want... you may get a response that helps, or you may get more than you bargained for (it's happened to all of us).
