It depends on how extensive they are and what type of skin that you have.

If it not uncommon for guys to have stretch marks (striae). An aggressive muscle-building program will often result in stretch marks on the chest, arms and buttocks. And weight gain will also cause them. They're common enough that most guys won't notice them.

If you have darker skin or you are prone to scars, the stretch marks can be very visible. Guys with fair skin tend to have more silvery marks that are less visible. With time the stretch marks will lighten on their own and will become less noticeable but because they are scar tissue, there's no way to get rid of them. Some of the laser treatments that are being tested trigger enough damage to the skin that it triggers the body to attempt to repair the area which reduces the visibility of the stretch mark.

There are some cosmetic creams available that contain ingredients that help with healing or with peeling of the skin. They vary from inexpensive like cocoa butter or shea butter. Or they can be more expensive like Strivectin. The studies don't really support the some of the claims of these products but the moisturizing and peeling effect may help make them less visible.

Accept it. Stretch marks are lovely, in my opinion.

They give a pattern to a beautiful shape.

An cheaper alternative to laser is skin needling ..... can be done professional or diy, Google it to get more information

Use cocoa butter creams. They're the same thing that a lot of women use for for stretch marks gained during pregnancy. I used to have a couple on my thighs and used it and it works.

A word of warning though, it's probably going to take months of using before they're no longer visible. Those creams really do work though.

When I was 14 I was 5'4 and weighed 237Lbs. At 17 & 5'7 I went on a diet and in a year went down to 155 which I still weight today. by the time I was 27 the stretch marks were gone.
