sugar daddy

It's something that I have gotten used to for over 20 years.

Repeat it until you believe it:

On a serious note, you always post pics on JUB of you in athletic gear or settings. I'm thinking you clean up really well, and would smash in a dress shirt or suit or tux.

Thank you for the compliment.

The thing is this. When I was younger, a series of rejections and some gays outright told me I was ugly convinced me that i was ugly. Kinda formed an image of myself as an ugly person in my 20s and most of my 30s. It's something that I have gotten used to for over 20 years. Now that I don't care anymore, I'm 40 and it doesn't matter anymore LOL.

Life plays funny tricks on you some time.
Dude. You are not ugly or homely or whatever is the current phrase.
You don't look like "my type" but you are a handsome man. You have pretty eyes.

I'm a face man, so less is more.

Much more turned on by seeing a handsome man dressed up than undressed. Even dress shoes are kinda hot, even though I love bare feet of men.
When my now ex husband left about 3 years ago, I packed up all my clothes and stored them at various places. Including my various suites and other nice clothes. Recently, I unpacked them and... unfortunately they have been eaten by insects. All my nice clothes are ruined.

Presentable clothes? I currently have 2 pairs of pants and 3 shirts that I could possibly pass as business casual... barely. Gym shorts and tank tops I have plenty of. Hence, my recent pictures are of me wearing Gym clothes.

I have also recently gained a bunch of muscle. My upper body is kinda tight in most of my shirts. I really need to go clothe shopping one of these days.

Due to the change in social norms, you can pick up dress clothes at thrift stores for a song. It just takes a little bit of patience to check when you're shopping for other things, and to note which stores are the beneficiaries of donors who are well-to-do. It shows up consistently in the men's clothes.

Although I frequent thrift shops, it's not for better menswear. I "collect" interesting t-shirts. My favorite came from a thrift shop in St. Paul.

Back to the topic. Although the OP is still fresh and way-before his "sell-by" date, I think sugar daddies are looking for someone more moldable. Maybe there's a wealthy peer available out there.

As I observe other shoppers, the age of a man seems very relevant to the types of clothes he buys in thrifts. Older men who would shop thrift in the first place are much less likely to be the class of man who dresses formally at any time.

Younger men are more likely to be looking for big savings on named brands and specifically looking to up-dress from their meager incomes, and, especially in urban markets, are looking for dressier shirts, good shoes, and some suits.

I'm very much the exception. I can certainly afford to pay retail, and have many times, but increasingly found clothes to be overpriced with ridiculous markups. Worth and price were too far apart. So, I save thousands by buying thrift, but spend the money elsewhere (landscaping, travel, dining . . .)

I love seeing both kinds of shoppers find the bargains, and recycle at the same time. It's really a great experience.

Back to the topic.

Don't you think attire is very relevant to dating, even more when it comes to sugar daddy arrangements? Most young men in the sugar daddy market tend to be clothes conscious. They are looking for the man who can free them from the thrift store circuit to go buy in the Rodeo Drive stores, or the local equivalent. They want bragging rights among their generation of status and bling.

Otherwise, the subject young partner is simply prostituting, not looking for a sugar daddy. Fuck buddies don't require the toys.

The OP is a total babe, just not twinkish in any way.

I think, especially with his degree and business experience, he has high chances of simply snagging a wealthy partner, regardless of much older or not.

But, meeting that man will likely require circulating in those social spheres.

Join a country club. Go to an upscale gym. Visit ritzy bars or clubs. Attend study groups or Meetup.com groups of the subjects that the educated prefer. Join an investing club. Join a travel club. Drive a flashy car. Dress up.

You have to spend money to make money.

I imagine that the OP is definitely daddy himself by now, 17 years on, at the age of 49

I'm pretty sure most young people are clothes conscious. My ex husband is about 10 years younger than me. When we were together, he always bought us (with my money) brand name clothes. Shorts that were $100+. Stuff like that. And he made me wear super tight clothes to really show my muscular stature. I don't know if you guys are aware, but tight shirts are super uncomfortable, especially on a hot day when I'm sweating. I always hated it.

Nowadays, I wear what's comfortable. Loose shirts. Loose shorts. I don't care what brand. Most clothes I wear are from Sam's club.

Comfort is king.
