Suicide Squad

Way more excited about Suicide Squad than Batman vs Superman...

Hopefully Joker/Leto isn't in this movie too much & is only there in flashbacks to set-up Harley Quinn's backstory.
 
Yeah batman versus superman looks pointlessly heterosexual. I hope they get Harley Quinn right in suicide squad. If they don't it won't be the fault of Margot.
 
Everything in this trailer that Will Smith has said sounds like quotes from other movies of his. He is such a bad actor, I wish he wasn't in this.

Not a huge fan of the way Joker completely looks but the way Jared was acting as him seems like it could be real good.

Anyway, truth be told both films haven't got me excited, I'm actually very worried for the DC Cinematic Universe because of them. Nothing up until this point has convinced me these films will be good.

Haha that was a bit rude sorry. I wrote that in a bad mood.

I just meant that I had little interest in two straight guys comparing muscles and glaring at each other and trying to measure each other up when really they just want to f****

Hell I was tame in my reaction to both films lol, they have put me in a bad mood. However I love a good testosterone filled action film. Personally we do the whole default they wanna fuck thing but basically most men and yes even gay men just want to fight another strong alpha male who threatens are status in our social groups etc we do it in different ways but it all goes back to our primitive selves lol, pretending I have a clue what I'm talking about.

Anyway BVS is too early they say its not a direct sequel yet they have tied Batman into the first film, seriously wanted Clark to be his own man and get out of Brue's shadow. Nolan did the Bat brilliantly we don't need him again this soon. The suicide squad is just poor imho we could have had hints through out various films hinting at major villains disappearing of the grid and maybe an Easter egg here or there in a news report showing what the squad did then have it a few years into the films if you know what I mean. Marvel did it spot on with the avengers and I know DC want a Justice League but both it an SS could work in that way before being introduced.

I'm inclined to agree that we do not need to see a live-action Batman film for a while. I also agree that SS should have had a more proper build-up, but that's DC's fault for trying to play catch-up to Marvel. I feel like DC looked at Guardians of the Galaxy as "Hey, no one has ever heard of these guys before & their movie did great! Lets do the same with Suicide Squad!" Regardless, SS looks more entertaining because it feautures characters who aren't Superman/Batman; the most tired/exhausted/well known comic book superhero characters in existence. Putting the two together isn't very exciting. At least the Squad shows an attempt at cinematic originality.
 
Leaked Suicide Squad set photos hint at the Joker's origin story

Since the new trailers of Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad debuted at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this month, there's been plenty of speculation surrounding the films' stories and how they could somehow link to one another. But most of that talk has revolved around Batman's involvement and a possible scene with Robin.

While none of that has been confirmed or denied, we do have new evidence now that points towards the telling of The Joker's origin story in Suicide Squad. The speculation stems from a now-removed Instagram photo from Ingrid Kleinig, the stunt double for Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn). The photo, which has since been deleted, revealed that a scene will take place at Ace Chemicals -- the place where the Joker fell into a chemical vat, resulting in his trademark white skin, green hair, and red lips.
